US (OH) - Gambling Not For The Buckeye State Strickland Says

Voters rejected gambling in last election.

OHIO — Despite West Virginia and Pennsylvania’s choice to allow gambling, Ohio’s Governor-elect Ted Strickland said it’s not in the best interest for the Buckeye State.

Strickland has nothing against it in a moral manner, but he thinks there are better avenues to getting the state government in order.

Ohio voters rejected gaming as recently as the November election.
